Jack Skellington
ColourPop Jack Skellington Lux lipstick ($ 7.00 for 0.12 oz.) Is a deep ruby red with strong, cool blue undertones and a satin finish. It had an almost opaque color coverage that applied evenly and comfortably to my lips without tugging.
The texture was slightly creamy, smooth, and light without being too emollient, so it stayed in place well. There was a touch of product in my deeper lip lines, but not enough to be personally noticeable. It carried well for over six hours, left a heavy stain, and felt moisturizing when worn.

The formula, supposed to be “creamy-matte,” “glides like butter, doesn’t feather or bleed, and lasts so long you’ll forget you’re wearing it in the first place.” The majority of the shades were fairly pigmented with full color release in a single stroke, with some in the more semi-opaque area.
The texture was smooth, slightly creamy on average, and not too thick or too thin so there was no tugging when applied, but the paint did not feel slippery when worn, which made it easy to apply straight from the tube and low-maintenance on the lips .
They tend to dry and wear out to a soft, matte finish within one to three hours of wearing. The wearing time for most shades was between four and six hours, and most shades did not dry to slightly moisturizing. They smelled of vanilla but had no discernible taste.

Oogie boogie
ColourPop Oogie Boogie Lux lipstick ($ 7.00 for 0.12 oz.) Is a muted, medium-dark peach with moderate, warm undertones and an off-white finish. It had an opaque color release coupled with a creamy, smooth consistency that was light and moderately slippery.
The product was applied fairly evenly, but it was more likely to separate along deeper lip lines and around the lip texture, so be sure to exfoliate before using this color. It lasted a good four hours and felt moisturizing over time.

failure
ColourPop Sally Lux lipstick ($ 7.00 for 0.12 oz.) Is a vibrant, deeper magenta with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. It had an opaque pigmentation, but the texture seemed a little too soft as it stuck into my deeper lip lines and didn’t apply as evenly to the inside of my lips. Otherwise, the lipstick felt creamy, which made it comfortable to apply and wear and left a heavy stain.
It was a shade I would apply over a lip liner or lip primer, or, other than those, dabbed a little bit, which reduces some of the slippage and smooths the color (but also makes it matte). It lasted well over six hours and felt moisturizing when worn.
