ColourPop Climax Lippie Stix ($ 7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) Is a deep, bluish purple with strong, cool undertones and a soft, matte finish. The texture was incredibly velvety and smooth, so it slid easily over my lips, but delivered a full color release that wasn’t prone to streaking or emphasizing the lip texture.
It lasted a good five and a half hours, leaving a plumy stain, and moisturizing slightly over time. It actually seemed more pigmented and smoother this time!

The formula is said to have “full coverage” with a “super matte” finish that is “light and velvety” to the touch. I would agree with all of these things – most of the hues were opaque, while some were more semi-opaque and mostly opaque. The texture is silicone-heavy to the touch, so it has the velvety slip effect that used to be more typical of face primers than lip products, but this silicone-heavy formula has made its way into lip products to give a matte finish with a smoother, more velvety consistency. The consistency feels a little denser but remains light and usually provides even coverage in a single puff that doesn’t lug. The formula lasts between four and eight hours for me and is usually neither drying nor moisturizing. There is a soft, sweet vanilla smell but no noticeable taste.

ColourPop Let’s Play Lippie Stix ($ 7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) Is a rich, metallic red with cool, blue undertones and a sparkling sheen. It was metallic without getting to the point where it emphasized the lip texture / imperfections. It had almost opaque pigmentation in a single pass that was evenly and comfortably applied to my lips.
The texture was dense, slightly sticky, but not difficult to wear and comfortable to wear over the six hours as it was moisturizing. I noticed the texture of the shimmer / microspark during the first application but not when it was on my lips.

The matte finish tends to be thinner, drier, and firmer in the tube, and they can occasionally pull my lips noticeably when applied, but they usually have good pigmentation and have a long shelf life; they range from non-drying to slightly drying.
The cream finish has a creamier, smoother quality with excellent pigmentation, pleasant wearing comfort and good wearing time (four to six hours); it tends to be a little moisturizing, but occasionally suffers from problems where the product builds up in the lip lines or they don’t flow as evenly as possible. There is a soft, sweet vanilla smell but no noticeable taste.

Girl gang
ColourPop Girl Gang Lippie Stix ($ 7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) Is a medium dark, rosy brown with subtle, warm undertones and an off-white finish. It had an opaque paint release in a single layer that adhered evenly to my lips.
The texture was a bit denser with a hint of stickiness, which I find characteristic of the formula that made for extended wear. It wore well for five and a half hours and was slightly moisturizing over time.
