ColourPop In the Groove Luster Dust Loose Highlighter ($ 7.00 for 0.106 oz.) Is a light peach gold with warmer undertones and a soft, luminous sheen with faint micro-sparkles that sparkled throughout as it wasn’t filled with the larger sparkles. The texture was very finely ground, airy and smooth as it didn’t emphasize the texture of my skin after it was applied and blended.
It had a semi-opaque buildable paint cover that adhered evenly to bare skin. This shade lasted a good eight hours before visibly fading.

Formula overview

The formula is said to be a “finely ground, soft powder” that “has a dazzling punch” where “a little helps a lot”. These can be incredibly shiny and metallic on the skin, and the opacity seemed to be all in the application. They actually seemed more pigmented when I applied them to my cheekbones with a tapered highlighter than when I used smaller brushes (for the eyes) on my forearm. The powders were finely ground with a little base color and a lot of shimmer / pearl. I found the best way to apply this by picking up the product on a brush and then swirling my brush on the inside of the cap, which helped spread the powder more evenly through my brush. This resulted in a more even application on my cheeks that required less buffing and veneering than if I skipped the whirling step. They lasted for about eight hours with me.
