Such a rush
ColourPop Such a Rush 4-Pan Cheek Palette ($ 18.00 for 0.3 oz.) Is more of a medium-dark cheek set that includes a cream-to-powder highlighter, powder bronzer, and two powder blushes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the powder tones were actually applied more evenly and blended with less difficulty than I usually experience with this formula. The highlighter was fantastic which I expected given the performance of other shades.
In my experience, ColourPop’s powder blush formula has a really smooth, silky consistency that can be more powdery (which helps make it more buildable) at times accentuating the dryness of my skin. Fortunately, I didn’t think so with these special shades!

Fast times
Fast times is a medium dark bronze with strong, warm undertones and a lighter, golden sheen, which gives it a smooth, metallic sheen. It had rich coverage of paint when applied with a fingertip and more semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation when I used a synthetic brush. The texture was smooth, almost wet to the touch, and mixable, making it wonderful to apply to bare skin and over foundation. It lasted a good 10 hours before it faded.

let’s go
let’s go is a medium brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The bronzer had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, although if needed it could be used with a lighter hand for better buildable coverage. The consistency felt smooth, finely ground, and slightly powdery, but wasn’t as thin as most of the brand’s powder bronzers. The color is easy to apply to bare skin and can be easily blended. This shade wore well for eight hours before noticeably fading.

ColourPop’s Pressed Powder Bronzer should have a “super velvety-soft” feeling that gives a “naturally tanned sheen”. No coverage was mentioned, but the brand’s promotional samples showed full coverage. The bronzers had a soft, silky texture that was slightly powdery in the pan but was easy to apply, blended well, and felt good against the skin. Most shades appeared to have a semi-matte to silky finish, which helped them slide on the skin and appear more natural (in the finish). The wear and tear ranged from eight to eight and a half hours on me.

Drive up
Drive up is a medium dark brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium color release in a single coat that could be built up to full coverage with two to three coats. The texture was thin, a little drier and a little powdery, although it felt smoother and finer ground. It was applied evenly to bare skin and blended well, which was a surprise as most of the hues in this formula are a little harder to spread if not applied to powdered skin. It took a good eight hours before it visibly faded.

Formula overview
$ 8.00 / 0.13 oz. – $ 61.54 per ounce
The formula is said to be “soft” and have a “natural and healthy flush” that has a “long shelf life” and “can be layered to your desired intensity”. It is a light to moderately powdery powder blush with a semi-transparent to semi-opaque, buildable color gradient. The consistency feels drier, thinner, and while it feels silky, I found that it can be difficult to evenly distribute the type of powder blush on the skin, depending on your skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin / base, the better the formula would blend, but natural oils or slips made the blush stay uneven and difficult to blend. The average wearing time for me was between seven and eight hours.

Full throttle
Full throttle is a medium-dark red-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, finely ground, and thinner with a little powder. The formula tends to clump up a bit when applied, but with a lighter hand and a less dense brush I found this not an issue with much smaller, denser brushes when applying to my cheeks (and not my forearm, where I use much smaller, denser brushes).
It had a medium buildable color delivery that was as marketed and blended pretty well – better than some shades in this formula for me. It lasted a good eight and a half hours before it faded noticeably.
