Social butterfly
ColourPop Social Butterfly 5-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($ 10.00 for 0.15 oz.) Contains three matte eyeshadows and two shimmery eyeshadows in a peach-blue color story. There was good contrast between the five shades which was nice to see. The eyeshadows were pigmented, mixable and lasted longer, with a slight fallout in some nuances.
This palette is one of five in a holiday vault, although ColourPop said they would be available individually at my request, but they did not appear individually on the website. It’s not realistic for me to check it out as a set (takes a lot longer, but I’ve also started testing them across sets and the system is better set up for one pallet, not five, for readability) within a set!) so decided to check them out one by one.

Joy joy
Joy joy is a light-medium peach with warmer undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had a looser squeezed consistency that resulted in a slight fallout when applied with a dry brush, but it was very glittery and completely opaque when applied with a dampened brush. It carried well for eight hours with light rainfall over time (when used dry).

Flight crew is a darker, yellowish peach with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was smooth, velvety, and slightly denser, if still a little powdery when picked up with a fluffy brush. It had an opaque paint coverage in a single layer that stayed beautiful for eight hours before visibly fading.

To the sky
To the sky is a deep navy blue with lighter blues and a petrol micro sheen that gives it a sparkling metallic finish. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented with a smooth, almost creamy texture that wasn’t too dense but adhered well to bare skin. It was a good eight hours before something faded.

Fly up is a rich, deep navy blue with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had an opaque color release coupled with a slightly thinner texture that was on the drier side, but it wasn’t prone to fallout and didn’t require that much additional effort to spread. It lasted a good eight hours before visibly fading.
