ColourPop Silver Spoon Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($ 9.00 for 0.21 oz.) Is a new version that includes a shimmery hue that is complemented by three matte hues for a monochromatic, smoky color story. All four shades had a semi-opaque to opaque color release, could be mixed and lasted for about eight hours.
This quad is one of six in a holiday vault, although ColourPop said they would be available individually at my request, but they didn’t show up on the website individually. It’s not realistic to me to check it out as a set (takes much longer, but I’ve also started testing them across sets and the system is better set up for one pallet, not five, for readability) within a set!) so decided to check them out one at a time.

Silver medal
Silver medal is a deep gray with neutral undertones and a metallic finish. The consistency was soft and felt a little drier, which resulted in it falling out slightly when applied with a dry brush. I would use this with a dampened brush or gently press on with my fingertip to reduce the fallout. It had rich pigmentation that was well worn for eight hours before noticeably fading.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is said to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra velvety and silky” texture that is “long-lasting” and “easily sticks to the eyes”. Most shades have a semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that can be easily applied to bare skin, blends easily and lasts seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a bit more powdery in the pan, but are soft and finely ground, while the shimmers have a creamier, denser consistency. Occasionally, the more glittering or metallic nuances are better applied with the fingertips or a dampened brush.

Expensive is a very light taupe with neutral to cool undertones and a matte finish. It had an opaque color release paired with a smooth, velvety texture that was slightly powdery but not prone to fallout or overturned. It lasted a good eight hours before fading a little.

Late date
Late date is a rich, deep black with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. The texture was very silky and finely ground with a bit of powder that was mostly limited to the pan, although I would use a lighter hand as it was quite pigmented anyway. It wore well for eight hours before it visibly faded.
