ColourPop Parallel Super Shock Cheek (Highlighter) ($ 8.00 for 0.15 oz.) Is a lighter, medium pink base that was slightly more neutral to cooler in undertones, while featuring contrasting gold pearls throughout that gave it a brilliant sheen. It had a more opaque pigmentation when applied with a fingertip and a more transparent, buildable opacity when applied with a synthetic brush like the one on the market.
I liked applying the formula with my fingertip and spreading it out with the clean edge of another fingertip as the paint spread out well, didn’t tend to lift base products, and was very forgiving. The consistency felt soft to the touch, but it was a thin, light formula that turned into something powdery once it came in contact with the skin. It lasted a good nine and a half hours before fading a little.
