Above the cocoon
ColourPop Over the Cocoon 5-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($ 10.00 for 0.15 oz.) Includes two shimmery hues and three matte hues in a pink / red color story. The two lighter mats were a bit powdery and tended to shimmer / build up a bit, while the other three shades were quite pigmented.
This palette is one of five in a holiday vault, although ColourPop said they would be available individually at my request, but they did not appear individually on the website. It’s not realistic for me to check it out as a set (takes a lot longer, but I’ve also started testing them across sets and the system is better set up for one pallet, not five, for readability) within a set!) so decided to check them out one at a time.

entry
entry is a muted, light pink-mauve with warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had a semi-opaque, buildable color coverage paired with a soft, moderately powdery texture that showed slight precipitation during application. Formula overview
$ 4.50 / 0.05 oz. – $ 90.00 per ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is said to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-lasting” and “easily sticks to the eyes”. Most shades have a semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that can be easily applied to bare skin, blends easily and lasts seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a bit more powdery in the pan, but are soft and finely ground, while the shimmers have a creamier, denser consistency. Occasionally, the more glittering or metallic nuances are better applied with the fingertips or a moistened brush.

Comfortable
Comfortable is a medium-sized orange-copper base with pink and gold sparkles over a metallic sheen. It had near-opaque paint release in a single layer that was more opaque when applied with a fingertip or a dampened brush. The texture was slightly emollient without being too thick or too tightly packed in the pan. It stayed decent for eight hours with light rainfall over time.

Part 2
Part 2 is a deep red with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was a bit firmer in the pan compared to other shades, although it didn’t have any powderiness and still could be blended onto bare skin. It was rich in pigmentation that lasted a good eight and a half hours and left a stain.
