ColourPop labels for the Ball Pressed Powder Quad ($ 12.00 for 0.12 oz.) Is a new limited edition pink and purple foursome that includes a pressed glitter, a pressed pigment, and two eyeshadows. This, along with the rest of the Animal Crossing collaboration, starts on January 28th at 10 a.m. PT on the ColourPop website and on February 14th on Ulta.
I wish the brand had included a Super Shock Shadow instead of a glitter as I think that would have allowed them to achieve a similar appearance, which would have made the palette more versatile and appealed to a wider audience. The two matte shades were either drier or more powdery, while the shimmery shade was a bit fluff, so this palette is best for someone who uses eye shadow primer and doesn’t mind failure during application.

Capable sisters
Capable sisters has a translucent base with silvery-white glitter spots and iridescent, pastel-colored glitter. This shade contains plastic (PET) glitter and indicates that it is not intended for the eye area. The texture was more pliable – you could squeeze and move the product with enough pressure – with slight tack and decent adhesion.
The only area that distinguishes the brand’s pressed glitters in my opinion is their ability to evenly spread without much work. It had medium coverage – and the formula is inconsistent in coverage, which is why it would be nice if they had clear descriptions! – which had a good spread and lasted eight hours with light precipitation as a cheek marker.

Tailor ticket
Tailor ticket is a medium pinky lavender with subtle warm undertones and silver flecks that sparkle over a matte finish. Those silver shimmers did not bond to the base, so they tended to fail or get caught in the brush – although this resulted in very little transferring and therefore not much potential for failure.
The consistency was soft, a little thinner and drier, but surprisingly it wasn’t as powdery as it could have been. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation that carried well for eight hours.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery in the pan, though they’re soft and finely ground, while the shimmers have a creamier, denser consistency. Occasionally, the sparkling or metallic shades are better applied with the fingertips or a damp brush.

Custom-made design
Custom-made design has a medium, reddish-plum-colored base with moderate, warmer undertones and an aqua-blue to blue mother-of-pearl shift. It had an almost opaque pigmentation with a soft, loosely squeezed consistency that was applied with a damp brush or fingertip with the least amount of precipitation. The shift was also more noticeable in this way. It stayed on decently for eight hours before noticeably fading.

Calm sable
Calm sable is a medium purple with subtle warm pink undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was a bit powdery with a tendency to fall out and a little scissor when applied to bare skin or over an eye shadow foundation.
It initially had an opaque color coverage and was mixable. So you should just build one cover up and make sure you use a primer underneath for maximum coverage / color truth. It was eight hours before something faded.

Most color tones have a semi-opaque to opaque coverage, can be faded out quite well and can sometimes be a little drier / powdery compared to typical matt colors. They often last eight to nine hours on me before they fade, but many hues in the pressed pigment family stain.
