Heavy petal

ColourPop Heavy Petal Lippie Stix ($ 7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) Is a deep plum with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, moderately dense texture that was slightly sticky on my lips (but not heavy or uncomfortable to wear). The product was applied evenly and didn’t accentuate the texture of my lips or my lip lines. It lasted a good five and a half hours and felt slightly moisturizing over time.

Formula overview

$ 7.00 / 0.0352 oz. – $ 198.86 per ounce

The formula is said to have “full coverage” with a “long-lasting, ultra-comfortable” feel. Since there are a number of finishes in the range, some of the results will depend more on the finish.

The matte finish tends to be thinner, drier, and firmer in the tube, and they can occasionally pull my lips noticeably when applied, but they usually have good pigmentation and have a long shelf life; they range from non-drying to slightly drying.

The cream finish has a creamier, smoother quality with excellent pigmentation, pleasant wearing comfort and good wearing time (four to six hours); it tends to be a little moisturizing, but occasionally suffers from problems where the product builds up in the lip lines or they don’t flow as evenly as possible. There is a soft, sweet vanilla smell but no noticeable taste.

Dancing lady

ColourPop Dancing Lady Lippie Stix ($ 7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) Is a rich, red burgundy with strong, cool undertones and a flat, matte finish. It mainly had an opaque pigmentation that was applied evenly to my lips, but there was a light product that settled into my deeper lip lines and collected a bit around texture imperfections, although this was imperceptible in person (from normal viewing distance!). .

The texture was smooth, velvety and easy to apply without feeling traditionally creamy / wet. This shade lasted well over six hours, left a stain, and felt non-drying to the touch.

orchid

ColourPop Orchis Lippie Stix ($ 7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) Is a blackened burgundy with subtle, cool undertones and an off-white finish with a moderate sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation paired with a light, moderately emollient texture that was slippery enough that it seemed prone to pooling around lip texture imperfections and clumping when applied.

I would highly recommend exfoliating before applying this shade. It carried well for five and a half hours, staining, and feeling slightly moisturizing over time.
