ColourPop Gimme Sugar Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($ 9.00 for 0.21 oz.) Is a new foursome that includes two shimmery hues and two matte colors. Three of the four shades were very easy to work with, but one was more transparent and powdery, which was more of a failure; it would be okay to hide the darker matte, but not as a separate hue.

Whipped cream
Whipped cream is a very light pink with strong, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The eyeshadow had rich pigmentation in a single layer that was evenly applied to bare skin and blended well. The texture was smooth, slightly creamy, but not too dense or too tightly pressed into the pan. It wore well for eight hours before it visibly faded.

gummy bear
gummy bear is a light, light to medium purple with warm pink undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had an almost opaque paint release that could be built up to full coverage with less than half a coat more. The texture was thinner, but not as powdery as the brand’s matte eyeshadow shadows typically, which made the product easier to apply, but it was still miscible. It lasted a good eight and a half hours and left a faint stain.

Most shades are semi-opaque to opaque, blend pretty well and can sometimes be a little drier / powdery compared to typical matte shades. They often wear me eight to nine hours before they fade, but many of the Pressed Pigment family shades leave some stains.

Sour sweets
Sour sweets is a light-medium lavender with warmer undertones and a matte finish. The texture was moderately powdery and tended to shear, which made it difficult to apply evenly and build up. It had a semi-transparent pigmentation that only improved medium coverage when applied over an eyeshadow primer. There were fading marks after six hours of wear.

Blackberry luck
