ColourPop Cotton Candy Super Shock Cheek (highlighter) ($ 8.00 for 0.15 oz.) Has more of a translucent base and a mix of finer and larger pearls and glitter that was silvery white and iridescent. The finish seemed smoother in practice than it was when swatched, but it was a sparkling highlighter with larger visible glossy spots that I know some appeal to and some don’t.
The consistency was smooth to the touch, slightly wet to the touch, but quickly turned to a more powder-like consistency when it came in contact with the skin. The product applied well with fingertips and felt more difficult to apply evenly with a brush. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that was applied with a fingertip and a fairly transparent cover that was applied with a brush – slightly less pigmented than on the market. It carried well for nine hours but had a slight wander from the larger sparkles over time.
