DERRY, NH – May 6, 2021 – CoderZ has once again received prestigious industry recognition, this time as a finalist in the Best Coding and Computational Thinking category for the SIIA Education Technology 2021 CODiE Awards program.

CoderZ is a powerful, self-directed virtual learning platform that teaches students valuable principles of coding, robotics and computer skills in the engaging and challenging context of robotics. As a cloud-based robotics and computer science program, CoderZ offers four interesting courses that schools and districts can choose from. Each course is specifically designed to inspire students’ passion for STEM concepts and provide authentic learning opportunities to increase interest and engagement.

“We are honored to be named a CODiE Award finalist this year,” said Ido Yerushalmi, CEO of CoderZ. “The categories for educational technology are judged by working educators and administrators based on certain category criteria. Therefore, it is gratifying to be recognized by industry leaders for outstanding products and innovations. The CoderZ suite of products enables educators to instill student passion for STEM through robotics, coding, and computer science while promoting future-proof college and career skills. “

Recognized as the premier awards program for the software and information industry for over 35 years, the SIIA CODiE Awards are presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the premier trade association for software, education, media, financial information and digital content industries. CoderZ was named one of 152 finalists in the 42 educational technology categories.

“The CODiE Awards recognize the most exciting and transformative products from Ed Tech,” said Jeff Joseph, president of SIIA. “This year, these leaders have helped our nation respond to the historic pandemic, enabling learners, educators, administrators, and parents to stay connected with each other and with critical educational resources through a range of innovative services and platforms. Congratulations to this year’s finalists who have demonstrated the vitality, resilience and importance of this important industry. “

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the only industry recognized award program. Educators and administrators act as judges and conduct the review of all nominees for the first round. Their scores are determined by the finalists of the SIIA CODiE Award, who make up 80% of the total number of points. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the results of both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the winners in the Education Technology category will be announced during an online winners announcement ceremony on June 23, 2021.
