Clinique Red Hot Pop Lip Color + Primer Lipstick ($ 19.50 for 0.13 oz.) Is a light, medium red with neutral to warm undertones and an off-white finish. It had an almost opaque color coverage that applied nicely to my lips, with an even color that softened my lip lines so it was very flattering to wear.
The texture was light, thin, and comfortable with easy slippage, but not enough to move about when worn. It wore well for five hours and felt moisturizing over time.

The formula is described as a “rich color” with a “smoothing foundation” that “comfortably moisturizes the lips”. Most shades had a semi-opaque to opaque color coverage in a single layer, and the slightly weaker shades were somewhat buildable. The deeper shades tended to do the best, while some of the lighter shades blended easily into the lip lines (not too noticeable or not at all personal).
Some shades were smoother than others, so I think the “Smoothing Primer” claim was the weakest and wasn’t always met. The texture was light, slightly creamy without being heavy or too slippery, and did not pull when applied. The formula was comfortable and moisturizing to wear and lasted between four and six hours. There seemed to be no smell or taste.

Clinique Red-Handed Pop Lip Color + Primer Lipstick ($ 19.50 for 0.13 oz.) Is a lighter, medium red with soft, warm undertones and an off-white finish. It had a semi-opaque color release that was evenly applied to my lips and seemed to soften / smooth my lip lines.
The texture was light, thinner, but not sticky, and comfortable to apply in one flowing motion, although it was a bit firmer than the average lipstick, but warm on my lips. It lasted a good five hours and felt moisturizing when worn.
