Urban Decay Callback Vice Moisturizing LipstickUrban Decay Callback Vice Moisturizing Lipstick ($ 19.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a muted, darker red-copper with warm undertones and a cream-colored finish. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth consistency that was slightly creamy and easy to work with, as the color glided comfortably and did not get into my lip wrinkles. It lasted a good five and a half hours and was moisturizing over time.

Formula overview

The formula is said to be “super pigmented”, “moisturizing” and “long lasting”. There are three finishes: cream, matte, and shine, and the way they feel, apply, and wear depends on the finish, so I’ve broken the chart down by finish.
The matte finish is comparable to the original comfort matte finish in the Vice Lipstick formula. They have a creamy, smooth consistency that has a silky finish rather than a true matte finish. They wear out to a semi-matte to matte finish when some of the gloss wears off. They were typically opaque, fairly forgiving for imperfections on the lips, and wore anywhere from four to six hours. There were a few nuances, usually on the lighter end of the color spectrum, that were more prone to getting stuck in my lip lines.
There were a few nuances in the matte finish that were genuinely matte and were more of a traditional matte, although they were still smooth and pliable enough to apply without tugging, but they were thinner and a bit “clingy” in comparison “(just not to the point) emphasizing the lip texture or making it uncomfortable to wear).
The Cream Finish is comparable to the Original Cream Finish in the Vice Lipstick formula. The texture was smooth, more like a gel-cream in that it was dense and slightly sticky, so it glided better once it warmed on my lips. What I’ve always enjoyed – and what I enjoy about the reformulation – is that the texture helps keep the color in place, making it appear smoother, and sit better on my lips while still adding plenty of shine. These shades had a semi-opaque to opaque coverage and a wearing time of about four to five hours.
The shine finish is most like the original sheer finish in the Vice Lipstick formula, but to me these were less comparable than the other two finishes. The shine finish is a very smooth, gel-like balm that has a lot of lubricity, no stickiness and is very shiny. They’re almost easy to paint over because they’re so soft and creamy (also why they’re available in the slim tube to keep the lipstick from breaking off at the base). These shades were rather semi-opaque to predominantly opaque with some translucency. They lasted about two to four hours.
The majority of shades are moisturizing, although some of the really matte shades won’t dry off. No smell or taste was noticeable.

The texture was light, slightly emollient, but developed a hint of stickiness that held the product in place and still had a brighter finish. It lasted well over six hours, leaving a red stain and moisturizing when worn.
