Urban Decay Brilliance Lip Eclipse LipstickUrban Decay Brilliance Lip Eclipse Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.06 oz.) has a sheer, peachy-gold base with flecks of lighter and darker gold micro-glitter throughout. The brand described this shade as “sheer,” so it was in line with how it was marketed. The texture was lightweight, thin, and lightly emollient with more of an oily slip, so it was harder to keep on and had a tendency to gravitate toward my lip lines over time.

It was very sparkly, and the thinner texture made it apparent in feel whenever I pressed my lips together. It stayed on well for two and a half hours but some glitter had migrated over time, though the formula was lightly hydrating overall.

Urban Decay Ancient Lip Eclipse LipstickUrban Decay Ancient Lip Eclipse Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium-dark peach with strong, warm orange undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied somewhat evenly but had a tendency to streak along the edges and settled a bit into my lip lines.

The texture was creamy, moderately emollient, and somewhat slippery, which likely contributed to the issues I had with application. It lasted for three hours and was moisturizing while worn.
