MOON SAMPLE DISTRIBUTION
China has announced a list of research institutions to receive the second batch of lunar samples returned from its Chang’e-5 mission.
The newly distributed samples, weighing around 17.9 grams, will be divided into 51 lots and given to scientists from 17 research institutions, according to a statement from the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.
FINTECH REGULATION
The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) jointly announced on Thursday that they had signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Fintech Innovation Supervisory Cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA .) have signed).

MARCH ROVER
China’s Mars orbiter has resumed communication with Earth after the sun conjunction and will begin remote sensing of Mars in early November, the China National Space Administration (CNSA) announced on Friday.
The orbiter was in normal condition during the sun conjunction, the CNSA said, citing telemetry data. It will be the first time the orbiter has successfully survived solar conjunction, added the CNSA.
