Charlotte Tilbury The Golden Goddess Eyeshadow Quad ($ 53.00 for 0.18 oz.) Was released last year – I managed to miss it! – and is a warm, neutral palette with all shimmer tones. The quality has been pretty consistent with previous quads of the brand, although the formula wasn’t as good as in the larger pallets the brand has released in recent years.

The golden goddess # 1 is a light-medium, peach-colored gold with strong, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The texture was a bit powdery which resulted in sheer paint coverage that wouldn’t build up well without a slightly tacky primer underneath. Fading marks were visible after seven hours of wear.

The golden goddess # 2

The golden goddess # 2 is a light taupe brown with soft, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had a full color release that was applied evenly to bare skin and blended well. The texture was smooth, finely ground, and a little thin, but it turned out to be no problem on my skin. It wore well for eight hours before noticeably fading.

The golden goddess # 3 is a light-medium, yellowish-brown base with peach-pink sparkles. It felt slightly emollient, almost wet, which caused the larger glitters to stick to the lid, although I still had some precipitation while applying it. It mainly had an opaque paint release that was buildable, but the texture was a bit firmer and stiffer overall. It lasted a good eight hours, but over time there was light rainfall.

The golden goddess # 4 is a smoky, golden bronze with a mother-of-pearl shimmer. It had an opaque paint release in a single layer that was a soft, slightly powdery consistency that was miscible and sat well on bare skin. It took a good eight hours before it visibly faded.
