Charlotte Tilbury Happiberry Hyaluronic Happikiss Color BalmCharlotte Tilbury Happiberry Hyaluronic Happikiss Color Balm ($ 34.00 for 0.08 oz.) Is a rich, reddish plum with strong, warm undertones and a high-gloss cream finish. It had an almost opaque color payoff in a single layer that had more pigmentation than was marketed, but probably wasn’t a deal breaker for most.

The texture was denser, thicker, without being heavy or sticky, so it had good adhesion and didn’t slide around, but felt thicker than most lip products on the market. The product was applied evenly and did not look streaky around the edges. It lasted a good four and a half hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Formula overview

$ 34.00 / 0.08 oz. – – $ 425.00 per ounce

The formula is said to be moisturizing and help lips look smoother while having a “high gloss finish with medium coverage”. It had a denser, thicker consistency with a slight stickiness that didn’t feel heavy, but it was thicker than most lip products on the market. The hues had an opaque to opaque color coverage rather than “medium coverage”.

The finish was exceptionally glossy and gave the illusion of plumper lips. Whether the product looked smooth depended on the shade, as some were more flattering to wear than others. They lasted between three and five hours, were moisturizing, and didn’t bleed on me, even though they were creamier, smoother in texture. They seemed to stick better than real lip balm, but they were still comfortable to wear. The formula had a subtle, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Notably, the packaging used thinner plastic and was much lighter (until it felt a little threadbare) compared to other Charlotte Tilbury lip products. It also has a click turning mechanism that doesn’t prevent the product from being turned back into the tube. So be careful when unscrewing the product for use. I suspect the more balm-like formula needed this type of mechanism in order not to break at the base.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Hyaluronic Happikiss Color BalmCharlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Hyaluronic Happikiss Color Balm ($ 34.00 for 0.08 oz.) Is a muted, rosy purple with warm undertones and a high-gloss, glossy cream finish. The texture was smooth, moderately dense, and thicker, if not heavy.

The product was easy to apply too heavily so I would definitely work slowly and avoid building up coverage. It had an opaque color coverage that was more than marketed, but it was applied evenly to my lips and softened some of my lip lines. It performed well for four hours and felt moisturizing when worn.
