Charlotte Tilbury Celestial Pearl Eyeshadow Quad ($ 53.00 for 0.18 oz.) Is a new, limited edition, all-shimmer eyeshadow quad for the holiday season. The quality was decent, but the formulas were best used with a dampened brush and / or fingertip for a richer, smoother application with less precipitation. In my eyes, and even with my color scheme, the colors tended to blend in and lose contrast, so it was a muddy look – I think it would be better to combine with some medium or deeper matte tones.

Heavenly Pearl # 1

Heavenly Pearl # 1 is a light, peach-colored copper with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. The texture was soft, a little drier but not powdery, and it adhered well enough to bare skin, although it was smoother when applied with a dampened brush. It had an opaque paint coverage that stayed good for eight hours before visibly fading.

Heavenly pearl # 2

Heavenly pearl # 2 has a dirty yellow gold base with pink and gold sparkles all over. It seemed more nuanced at first, but the base really dominated and the dimension of the shimmer / sparkle was lost. The texture felt smooth, was a bit dense initially, but seemed to soften and loosen up a bit after two uses. It had an opaque paint cover that was applied evenly but had some precipitation during application. It showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear and had slight precipitation over time.

Heavenly pearl # 3 has a dark peach colored, slightly translucent base with lighter peach gold sparkles. The consistency felt slightly emollient, was thin but not enough to hinder application and was best applied with a dampened brush or fingertip for the smoothest application with the least amount of precipitation. It had a semi-opaque, buildable color release that lasted well for eight hours.

Heavenly pearl # 4

Heavenly pearl # 4 is a medium, copper-brown brown with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had an almost opaque pigmentation that could be built up with a second layer until it was completely covered. The texture was soft, a little firmer, and on the thinner side, but I didn’t really have any problems applying and blending it. This shade carried well for seven hours before it faded on me.
