Chanel level (10) Stylo Yeux Waterproof, long-lasting eyeliner ($ 34.00 for 0.01 oz.) Is a medium dark black with neutral undertones and a matte finish. The texture was smooth, slightly creamy – enough not to tug when applied – and adhered well to the lower lash line as well as my waterline. It had a semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that lasted well for nine hours before showing signs of thinning / fading.

Stylo Yeux’s formula is said to be a “waterproof, smudge-proof” eyeliner with a “smooth, soft” texture. I gave up on this formula a while ago as most of the shades I tried had a really firm, stiff, and painful texture to use, but new versions have improved a lot!
They’re much, much creamier without being too wet, so they don’t transfer or migrate easily. The formula was easy (and not painful!) To apply even on my waterline. The eyeliners lasted for nine hours or more.

Chanel Cassis (83) Stylo Yeux Waterproof, long-lasting eyeliner ($ 34.00 for 0.01 oz.) Is a deep plum with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. I found it applied a bit more evenly and smoothly in practice than swatching, although it wasn’t the smoothest or creamiest formula to work with, so it drew a bit. It had a somewhat semi-transparent to medium, somewhat buildable coverage that stayed decent for eight hours.

It had opaque color coverage in a single pass that was easily applied in one smooth, flowing motion or built up against the lower lash line with shorter, overlapping strokes. The texture was smooth, slightly creamy, but set quickly, which ensured it wasn’t prone to fine lines as it set. It wore well for nine hours before it visibly faded.
