Chanel Spring Flowers Blush and Higlighter Duo ($ 70.00 for 0.28 oz.) Is a new limited edition highlighter and blush duo with a more gel-powder-like formula so that both shades are “melted” on my skin for a smooth, seamless finish that (for the highlighter ) and glowed skin-like (to blush). Both colors had heavier pigmentation, were mixable, and stayed on for eight and a half hours. I liked the two colors together too (on a personal level) and slipped them into my vanity drawer (hence the editor’s recommended label!).

Spring flowers (highlighter)

Spring flowers (highlighter) is a medium pink peach with moderate, warm undertones and a bright finish. It had an opaque pigmentation in a single layer, although it was easy to apply less if desired with a lighter hand as it wasn’t powdery in the pan. The formula felt like a gel-powder hybrid that works best with a moderately dense brush because it feels firmer and denser, but has no powderiness and “melts” when applied to the skin.

The powder was applied evenly to bare skin, faded out with ease, and had a radiant finish that didn’t emphasize the natural texture of my skin and looked particularly seamless. It carried well for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading.

Spring flowers (blush)

Spring flowers (blush) is a lighter, medium black coral with warmer, orange undertones and a satin finish. The more I polished and faded the powder on my skin, the more satin-like the finish became – bright but not overly shimmery. It had rich color payout in a single layer, but the firmer, denser consistency (if not stiff!) Made it easy to use a lighter hand for more buildable coverage if preferred.

It was more of a gel-powder hybrid formula, which means the texture feels firmer but has no powderiness and almost “melts” on the skin for a particularly seamless look. The color was applied evenly and faded out effortlessly. It stayed good for eight and a half hours before it faded a little.
