Chanel Radiant (118) Rouge Coco Bloom lip color ($ 40.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a muted, medium-dark mauve with subtle, warm undertones and an off-white finish. It had an opaque pigmentation paired with a smooth, slightly creamy consistency that slipped moderately but didn’t slide too much when worn.

The product was applied evenly and didn’t accentuate the natural texture of my lips, although it didn’t quite smooth my lip lines as other shades in the range (definitely not accentuating!). It lasted a good four hours and felt moisturizing when worn.

The formula is said to have an “intense color” and a “high-gloss finish” that is “long-lasting” and “moisturizing”. The majority of the shades had a semi-opaque to opaque opacity, a few had a more translucent opacity. The color was usually applied evenly and smoothly over my lips without tugging or noticeably settling in my lip lines.

The texture was emollient, more like a lipstick-lip balm hybrid with moderate glide and a tendency to become more pliable on my lips when heated, though it didn’t start out stiff or firm either. I found most of the hues to be flattering on my lips as they are more forgiving of imperfections in texture.

While they weren’t particularly long-lasting – more like three to five hours with deeper reds that lasted the longest – they were comfortable, moisturizing, and not prone to feathering / bleeding. They had a floral scent, but no noticeable taste.

Chanel Freshness (120) Rouge Coco Bloom lip color ($ 40.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a medium, reddish plum with warmer undertones and a natural sheen. It had rich color coverage in a single layer that applied nicely to my lips as the color softened my lip lines and didn’t highlight the lip texture.

The texture was light, moderately emollient, but not too slippery and easy to apply in one liquid stroke. It wore well for four and a half hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Chanel Zenith (122) Rouge Coco Bloom lip color ($ 40.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a lighter, medium pink coral with warmer, gold pearls. It had a semi-opaque color release that built up easily but was never completely opaque. The texture felt smooth, moderately emollient, and balsamic, although it was more of the density of a lipstick.

The product was applied fairly evenly with very little color in my deeper lip lines (not enough to be personally noticeable, just the close-ups). It lasted a good four hours and felt moisturizing over time.
