Anne Hegerty, 63, has announced that she doesn’t mind her wealth being discussed on the news, but denies claims that she is a millionaire. It did so after The Sun received copies of its accounts in August, with the accounts revealing that the governess had made well over £ 1 million in the past two years.
The quizzer, also known as The Governess on The Chase, has been on the popular quiz show for over a decade.
The star’s firm, Frosty Knickers Ltd, sent their books to Companies House in August to cover the past year, according to The Sun.
The numbers reportedly showed Anne had a corporate tax bill of around £ 200,000 for the past two years, meaning her income would have exceeded the one million mark.
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Anne revealed what she thinks about her fortune being publicly debated.
