Always Bold Make Up Cinnamon (104) Rouge Artist Lipstick (2020) Make Up Always Bold Cinnamon (104) Rouge Artist Lipstick (2020) ($ 23.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a darker peach with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer that was applied evenly to my lips without puffing during application.
The texture was light like a cream-velvet hybrid, so it slid easily but also had a hint of creaminess. The product settled easily in my lip lines, although it didn’t seem to deteriorate significantly over time. It stayed good for four hours and felt slightly moisturizing over time.

The formula is said to “smudge, smooth and hydrate” with “the intensity of a mat and the comfort of a cream” and delivers “ultra-pigment”[ation]”The consistency reminded me of the newer ‘matte’ formulas that feel velvety without moisture / shine – those that feel more silicone-heavy, primer-like and often thinner. I would say the new Rouge Artist formula is a bit more traditional Creaminess, hence there was a satin sheen (which was as marketed – satin finish!).
The consistency was smooth, light and thin without feeling clingy. Multiple shades were seen in the close-ups that looked like small bits were scattered on my lips, almost like it had pilled, although I didn’t feel it when I pressed my lips together and couldn’t see it in person.
They usually had an opaque to opaque color coverage in a single layer. Most of the colors were applied evenly and sat well enough on my lips, although there were a few that slightly emphasized my lip lines. They carried me for four to six hours with some of the very rich, deeper hues that lasted a little longer. For the most part, the formula felt non-drying to slightly moisturizing to me.
There was a sweet, slightly floral scent that was noticeable for the first few minutes, but I didn’t notice any taste.

Is a muted medium pink with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had a rich color coverage that was applied fairly evenly and smoothly to my lips in one flowing stroke.
The texture felt light, thin, but not clingy, and more velvety than creamy, although it wasn’t as silicone-heavy as other velvety-matte formulas I’ve tried. It carried well for four hours and felt neither dry nor moisturized over time.

It had an almost opaque color payoff that was applied fairly evenly, but there was something about the way that shade sat that looked like it was “on top” but less completely adhered to my lips and had a piece of product that drew into my lip lines. which worsened in the four hours it took.
