MARS LANDING

A Chinese spaceship flew through the Martian sky on Saturday and landed as the first probe in the country on a planet other than Earth.

The lander, which was carrying a Mars rover, landed at 7:18 a.m. (Beijing time) with the China National Space Administration at its preselected landing site in the southern part of Utopia Planitia, a wide plain in the northern hemisphere of Mars.

TIANZHOU-2 CARGO SPACECRAFT

The combination of the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft and the Long March-7 Y3 launcher was transported to the launch area of ​​the Wenchang spacecraft launch site in southern China’s Hainan Province on Sunday, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).

The facilities and equipment at the launch site are in good condition, while various functional and joint pre-launch tests are being carried out as planned, according to the CMSA.

NEW AIR CARGO ROUTE

An international air freight route between Xi’an, the capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, and Novosibirsk in Russia has been launched.

A Boeing 767-300F aircraft loaded with 18 tons of goods took off from Xi’an on Friday and began operations on this new air freight route.
