La-Di-Dahlia
MAC La-Di-Dahlia lipstick ($ 20.00 for 0.1 oz.) Is a medium dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had almost opaque pigmentation in a single layer that stuck evenly on my lips, but the texture was on the thicker side which caused the product to peel off and settle in my lip lines.
It was possible to smooth it down again, and the problem went away a bit as the color dulled over time. The paint worn well for five hours and didn’t feel drying out.

MAC Lipstick comes in a variety of finishes, and pigmentation and wear and tear usually depend on the finish. The sheer finishes, like Lustres, tend to only wear a few hours and have sheer coverage (as intended) and won’t dry out.
Some of the original matte paints have a stiffer, drier formula, while newer ones have a velvety silicone feel, and the latter are creamier, more comfortable to wear, and easier to apply, but most matte paints are fairly pigmented and long-lasting, although some dry.
The Amplified and Satin finishes usually have good pigmentation, a slightly creamy to moderately creamy consistency with a bit of sheen, and a moderate to long shelf life with deeper, richer hues that are worn longer. The frost and metallic finishes show the greatest variance between the colors with an opacity from semi-transparent to opaque with average wear and tear and non-drying to slightly drying formulas. All MAC lipsticks smell of vanilla, but have no discernible taste.

Forget-me-naughty
MAC forget-me-naughty lipstick ($ 20.00 for 0.1 oz.) Is a lighter, light-medium purple with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. It had an opaque paint coverage in a single stroke that applied evenly and smoothly to my lips without tugging.
The texture was slightly creamy – enough to be comfortable but wouldn’t slip while wearing – and slightly accentuated my lip lines as the color moved noticeably up close but wasn’t noticeable from normal viewing distance. It lasted well for five hours and didn’t feel dry or moisturized over time.
