Netflix has announced the first owned and operated retail store called Netflix.shop to sell products and merchandise from the show. According to a blog post, the eStore regularly sells limited editions of “selected, high-quality clothing and lifestyle products” related to the Netflix show. Netflix, like some of its competitors (including Hulu and HBO Max), doesn’t broadcast commercials and relies on monthly fees paid by over 200 million subscribers worldwide. Netflix.shop makes an entry here.
Josh Simon, Vice President of Consumer Products at Netflix, said that the streaming giant’s online store will offer a limited edition Witcher and Stranger Things theme with these two show logos and the new Netflix from Japanese BEAMS. It says it will sell Logowear. Fashion house.
