Lisa Eldridge Celestial Fire Elevated Glow Highlighter ($ 38.00 for 0.43 oz.) Is a light to medium copper with warmer, fine gold pearls and a dewy sheen. It had a bare pigmentation as marketed that built up something to medium coverage when applied in layers, although I’d say the finish got more shimmery and intense when applied overall.
The texture was smooth, light, and thin without being too watery or too dense, which helped the liquid highlighter apply to bare skin, blend in without lifting the base products or becoming uneven, and was also great for blending in or out Apply foundation / moisturizer underneath for an all-round glowing effect.
The product is dried for three minutes to achieve its “smoothing” effect, where it looks more like a fused, seamless look on the skin but retains a light, dewy sheen on the skin. That being said, of the four originally published hues, this hue wasn’t quite as smooth compared to others. It carried well for eight hours before it faded a little on me.

Formula overview

The formula is described as a “transparent, slightly tinted and skin-adaptable base” with “small” pearls that give the skin a “glowing and seamless” highlighting effect. It should also have a “subtle tightening and smoothing of the skin”. The intensity of the pearl can be built up depending on the brand.
It had a soft, luminous sheen that wasn’t so dewy that it blended into an oily area, and had fine pearls that glowed without emphasizing the texture of the skin. The effect could be increased by applying more product as described. As on the market, the pigmentation was transparent and, if desired, could be increased to a semi-transparent to medium opacity.
The best way to see the subtle smoothing effect is to apply the product directly to bare skin, leave it on (three minutes as recommended by the brand) and then add basic products as desired. I found that the formula was definitely more smooth this way, although it never added to the texture of my skin even when applied directly over the foundation.
The consistency was thin, light, and more watery, so the easiest way to apply it was to dab a little on the back of my hand and then use a fingertip or dab brush to pick up the product and dab it on my skin. The product was easy to apply to bare skin as well as base products, as this approach did not tend to lift the foundation. When I applied directly over the foundation with the deer foot applicator, the product appeared to be over applied and too wet, making it harder to work with and spreading over a larger area than I intended.
It lasted a good eight and a half hours before it faded a little on me.
