Chanel Blossom (130) Rouge Coco Bloom lip color ($ 40.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a lighter coral red with warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had medium to semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly and smoothly to my lips, but didn’t build up opacity too much so it was less pigmented than marketed.

The texture was moderately emollient with quite a bit of slip, although it did not bleed over time. It is very forgiving of the lip texture and doesn’t settle in my lip lines. This shade lasted a good four hours and felt moisturizing over time.

The formula is said to have an “intense color” and a “high-gloss finish” that is “long-lasting” and “moisturizing”. The majority of the shades had a semi-opaque to opaque opacity, a few had a more translucent opacity. The color was usually applied evenly and smoothly over my lips without tugging or noticeably settling in my lip lines.

The texture was emollient, more like a lipstick-lip balm hybrid with moderate glide and a tendency to become more pliable on my lips when heated, although it didn’t start out stiff or firm either. I found most of the hues to be flattering on my lips as they are more forgiving of imperfections in texture.

While they weren’t particularly long-lasting – more like three to five hours with deeper reds that lasted the longest – they were comfortable, moisturizing, and not prone to feathering / bleeding. They had a floral scent, but no noticeable taste.

Chanel Vivacity (132) Rouge Coco Bloom lip color ($ 40.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a lighter shade of coral-orange with warm undertones and a cream-colored finish. It had an opaque paint release in a single layer that stuck well to my lips and softened most of my lip lines.

I was impressed with how soft, yet flattering the formula was. The texture was smooth, creamy, and less balsamic compared to other hues, but just as pleasant. It lasted a good four and a half hours and felt moisturizing when worn.

Chanel Sunlight (134) Rouge Coco Bloom lip color ($ 40.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a darker copper with moderate, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had medium coverage that was applied evenly to my lips but didn’t build up in coverage.

The texture was light, slightly thinner than other shades in the series, and had moderate slip as it felt like a lip balm / lipstick hybrid to me – thinner but smoother. It wore well for three and a half hours and felt moisturizing over time.
