Twitter is expected to introduce its paid subscription model, commonly known as “Twitter Blue”, in the coming months. The company has been working on the model for a year. More details on the features will be available in time.

In the meantime, here is everything we know so far.

Twitter Blue prices

The subscription model apparently costs $ 2.99 per month (about 218 rupees).

Twitter Blue “Collections”

A user looking into new and upcoming features also indicated that there would be a Collections feature that would allow users to collect important Tweets and keep them in one place for easy reference later.

Twitter Blue “Bookmark Collections”

In addition, Twitter Blue has a bookmark collecting feature that allows users to bookmark different locations – a kind of folder-based storage model.

Undo tweets

The company is also said to offer its paying customers the ability to undo tweets. Essentially, this allows users to quickly delete a tweet that may have errors or other inconsistencies. This undo option is available for a short time immediately after the tweet is posted. This is a customizable feature and users can choose how long they want the option to be available for.

Additionally, users have reportedly been able to choose where to use all of the options, including original tweets, user replies, quote retweets, etc.

Twitter Blue will have many subscription models

That’s not all! The Twitter subscription will be animal based, which means that features will be made available to users based on the price they pay.

In July 2020, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said the company will “set a really high bar” when it begins rolling out its paid services. However, it is unclear when the service will roll out globally and is still in the testing phase. And we still don’t know if the paid functionality would eliminate advertising altogether.

Would you pay for these additional services or is regular Twitter sufficient for your needs?
