The texture was very fluid and fluid, so lacking the more gel-like quality of newer liquid highlighter pens to compare it to. For this reason, I liked applying a brush better than a standalone highlighter, as it helped to soak up some of the moisture and create a better, more even finish. I noticed that this shade seemed a little more prone to lifting base products when I applied it with a fingertip.

The formula dried out giving a soft sheen that was damp but not shiny, and the shimmer was fine so that it didn’t emphasize the natural texture of my skin at all. It took eight hours before it visibly faded on me.

Formula overview

The formula is said to be “ultra mixable” with “bare coverage” and have a “natural moist” finish. It can be used individually, applied to products or mixed with the primer.

The covering was very plain, and the more fluid, almost watery consistency made the already sheer covering tend to become even sharper. I found that acting as a standalone highlighter on products or bare skin was so subtle that it looked more like faint glimmer particles but little color and subtle luminosity.

Applying it to bare skin, fingertips, or brushes worked fine, but I preferred a duo-fiber feathered brush to apply over the foundation as it was more prone to leaving fingertips when I tried to pat it over the foundation. It mixed well with various foundations, and it was also something that mixed well with moisturizers or more liquid foundations.

It mostly dries out so it doesn’t tend to slide around while you wear it, and it doesn’t feel sticky to the touch either. They wore an average of eight hours before fading.
