YSL Luminous Pink (57) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick YSL Luminous Pink (57) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick ($ 38.00 for 0.13 oz.) Is a vibrant coral red with warm undertones and cooler pink shimmer. It had almost opaque pigmentation in a single stroke that provided even coverage and never pulled or pulled on my lips during application.

The lipstick had a smooth, slightly emollient consistency that was thin, light and comfortable to wear. It stayed good for five and a half hours, leaving a stain and feeling moisturizing over time.

I’ve found that more mid-tone and deeper hues have better uses with smoother, more forgiving colors that have semi-opaque or higher opacity. Some of the lighter and deepest hues were more likely to stand out in lip lines or achieve medium to semi-opaque coverage.

Wear averaged between four and six hours. I found the formula was usually on the moisturizing side. There was a sweet, floral scent with a very subtle taste, although I felt that sometimes it gave me a taste and sometimes it didn’t notice anything.

YSL Melone d’Or (59) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 lipstick YSL Melone d’Or (59) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 lipstick ($ 38.00 for 0.13 oz.) Is a light medium pink base that was barely warm tinted, paired with a warmer, peach-gold shimmer that gave it a more matte finish. The shimmer tended to separate and clump together along my lip lines, so the finish was uneven and nowhere near as smooth as other shades in the area (which were often much less shimmery).

The texture felt smooth and light and had some slippage, but wasn’t as sleek as most of the colors in the range. It lasted four hours and felt slightly moisturizing when worn.

Is a muted, deep rosy purple with warm undertones and an off-white finish. The lipstick had rich pigmentation in a single layer that was applied evenly and comfortably to my lips without peeling.

The consistency was smooth, slightly creamy, but not overly slippery while wearing (despite lots of sheen!) And was moisturizing while wearing. In the close-up photo, there was a small product stain in my deeper lip lines, but it wasn’t enough to be seen in person. This shade lasted well for four and a half hours and felt moisturizing when worn.
