Today the internet was furious with Usher for what appeared to be a strip club and tipping dancers with fake money that was adorned not with the faces of historical American leaders but with his own. It all started with a viral Instagram story from @beelOove, a dancer who accused Usher of tapping those fake “Usher Bucks” and demanding that he be “blown” about it on social media. This is exactly what happened to the online forces calling for Usher to be canceled.

There’s more to history now, thanks to TMZ. TMZ claims to have spoken to two different sources, one of which was a representative from Sapphire, the Vegas club where this all happened. The spokesman says Usher actually left real money and was actually quite generous with it. Otherwise, “sources nearby” say to Usher that the counterfeit Usher dollars were actually left by someone on his crew as a joke and / or in an attempt to promote his Vegas residence.

So there you have it. The controversy has been cleared and you can stop canceling Usher who is actually using authentic, legal American money when going to strip clubs.
