ServiceNow last week announced the expansion of its Dublin office, which will create at least 300 new jobs over the next three years as part of the company’s growth plans for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
ServiceNow offers cloud-based platforms and solutions that deliver digital workflows that create great experiences and increase productivity for employees and businesses. The new roles are primarily focused on engineering and digital sales, with select recruitments being made in marketing, finance, legal and other corporate functions.
ServiceNow’s Dublin Intellectual Property (IP) & Development Center, which opened in 2018, initially created 30 jobs, mainly in cloud operations and other technical and legal functions. With an already strong staff base in Dublin, this expansion will quadruple the number of staff in Dublin to over 400.
ServiceNow says its expansion is being driven by its strength in the industry as a digital business platform company and as a creator of modern enterprise workflows that create great employee and customer experiences and unleash productivity.
Taoiseach Michéal Martin hailed the news last week, saying, “I am thrilled to announce 300 new high quality jobs through ServiceNow. This is a great show of confidence by an innovative company in Ireland’s technological ecosystem and talent base. The government’s mission over the coming months and years is to get people back to work and rebuild our economy while ensuring that Ireland remains well positioned to thrive in the new green and digital economy of the future with quality and sustainable jobs. “
Mark Cockerill, Vice President of ServiceNow added, “We continue to see strength in our EMEA business. Our hiring plans reflect our commitment to meet growing demand in our business and to be the partner in our customers’ digital transformation. Dublin is quickly becoming a central point. We look forward to bringing more great people into our business as we continue to grow. “
