Pat McGrath Flesh 3 LiquiLUST Matte LipstickPat McGrath Flesh 3 LiquiLUST Matte Lipstick ($ 30.00 for 0.17 oz.) Is a deep, maroon with subtle, warm undertones and a flat, matte finish. It had abundant pigmentation in a single layer of product, though the consistency of the formula meant it ran a little longer than average.
The texture was smooth, fluid, and easy to work with on the edges of my lips. It dried out very quickly and was touch-proof, but a bit flexible, which made it more comfortable to wear. This shade stayed well on for over six hours, leaving a faint stain, and feeling neither dry nor moisturizing over time.

The formula is said to have an opaque coverage in a “single stroke” that is “light” to the touch and makes the lips look “smooth”. The formula was opaque in a single coat, and the product was applied fairly evenly and smoothly to my lips, but it didn’t always dry out in the most flattering way. Sometimes the set result accentuated my lip lines.
The texture was light, creamy, and more fluid – but not heavy – so the Doe-Foot applicator contained more product than I needed for one application. I noticed the product looked softer and smoother when worn, which was nice as it had a nice gradual wear and tear that was always more flattering instead of scuffing the center of my lips heavily. They lasted between five and six hours and felt slightly dry over time. I didn’t notice any smell.

It had a semi-opaque, buildable paint cover that was applied fairly evenly, although as it dried out it tended to accentuate my natural lip texture.
The consistency was runny, more substantial without feeling heavy, but I found that the applicator tended to over-apply the product if I didn’t take care to remove some excess from the edge of the tube when pulling the applicator out. It wore well for over six hours, stained and non-drying to the touch.
