Favorite formulas
Below are my favorite Fenty Beauty formulas and some of the top rated colors in each formula. It should come as no surprise that the Cheeks Out Cream Blushes, released earlier this year, are high on my list – a category I’ve waited for a brand to come across and Fenty did it!
I also have a couple of Killawatt Highlighters from Fenty Beauty (duos or singles) in my drawer. Afternoon Snack / Mo ‘Hunny and Wattabratt are two that I’ll be using for something quick and easy to review photos. They’ve been in my vanity drawer since I launched (you can find more about that in my 2020 must-haves).
I bought back the original Fenty Gloss Bomb a few times at this point, and it has been a favorite for a while (see Must-Haves That Stayed Favorites from 2018!). I have one in my pocket as well as in my vanity for easy on-the-go use that is shiny, comfortable, and a little sized (but goes with any look).

The formula is said to result in a “fresh color wash” that can be “effortlessly” mixed with a “natural looking” finish. The formula is said to be “long-lasting,” “transfer-resistant,” “easy to blend, and” airy “with a buildable cover that is” hard to overdo. “Pigmentation was rather medium to semi-opaque with some hues appearing in a single Layer are almost opaque. The formula is said to have a “peach-vanilla” scent (I would agree – sweet, slightly fruity) and to be “conditioning”. It is designed to be worn alone or layered over other lip products. The consistency was very smooth, light to medium weight, not sticky and comfortable to wear. It had a more consistency in it that helped it stay away from most of my lip lines. The shimmer was moderate but noticeable and spread evenly over the lips. They last about three hours on my lips but are moisturizing.

It is said to have a “petal-soft matte finish” with a “mega-rich color” that is long-lasting and does not bleed or feather. They are creamy, smooth, and velvety without being heavy. Most of the shades were applied evenly to my lips, never skipping or penetrating my lip lines. I don’t usually have feathers / bleeding and I haven’t experienced any with this area either.
