The texture felt slightly creamy, slightly thicker than other shades in the range, but wasn’t so heavy or too thick that it interfered with application. I noticed that my surface seemed a bit gritty, which was probably wax bloom, but was fine underneath (I’d imagine you could swap it out, I just didn’t bother).
As a blush, it worked well on both bare skin and foundation because it didn’t lift the base products or create crusts. It stayed fine for eight hours before it visibly faded. As a lip product, it was applied a bit unevenly and was very prone to spot imperfections and separate along my lip lines. it took two hours at best and didn’t feel drying.

The formula is said to have a “buildable color” with a “glowing second skin finish” that can be applied to lips and cheeks. They appear to be quite pigmented at first, but they’re more buildable than intense, as the moderately emollient consistency is easily visible in practice. This is probably why most people want their cream blush to work as it makes the formula easy to work with as it is easy to mix but can be easily built up for greater coverage if needed.
When the cream flushed the finish was damp, but it was dried out and no longer pliable to the touch, resulting in better longevity for my skin. The formula sings as a creme blush which would be the purpose I would recommend this for. They were applied evenly and mixed well on bare skin as well as over the foundation as they did not lift the base products. They took about eight hours for most shades before they faded – didn’t slip on me.
As a lip product, the finish was less damp and looked more satiny. They are weaker than a lip product than a cream blush as the product is more likely to separate along my lip lines or spot imperfections with moderate wear. They were comfortable enough to wear because they were thin but not clingy and were a color that lasted two to three hours. I didn’t find it moisturizing as a lip product.
