Give Me Glow Take me to the tropics. Pressed highlighter ($ 17.25 for 0.28 oz.) Is a medium dark bronze with moderate, warm undertones and a light, metallic finish. The undertone was more golden without being too red or too orange, although when applied and blended onto my skin it looked more orange than I ever expected.

The texture felt smooth, almost creamy, with moderate density and a good amount of lubricity. It seemed a little fragile as the powder came off in small pieces when I swirled my finger in it, but it didn’t have that problem with highlighting brushes. It had an opaque paint release that was applied evenly to my skin and spread well around the edges. It had a high-gloss finish that was just in the textured area. This shade showed signs of fading after eight and a half hours of wear.

Formula overview

$ 17.25 / 0.28 oz. – $ 61.61 per ounce

The formula is described as “finely ground”, “highly pigmented”, “non-glittering” and with “extreme shine”. They are incredibly intense, highly metallic and very richly pigmented highlighters. If you’re someone who prefers a softer shine, more buildable highlighters, or is prone to heavier hands, this formula may not work well. If you’re someone who can’t get enough shimmer and shine and prefers highly pigmented cheek products, this formula is for you.

The finish ranged from light metallic to intensely metallic, and as a result, some shades were more prone to accentuate my skin texture when worn with medium to semi-opaque (or higher) coverage. Most of the colors were completely opaque and very little product was needed – a little was sure a lot! They don’t glitter, because the shimmer is generally finer and does more justice to the “extreme shine” brand.

The consistency was smooth, almost creamy, and had a fragility that made me use a more rounded brush and then tap it against the surface or swirl it lightly but not push forward or it felt like I was Far too much product got for a single application. If you’re familiar with the brand’s eyeshadow shadows, the highlighters felt similar to mine, only with a slightly less firm pressure in comparison. For most of the shades, they were applied evenly and veneered with little effort.

The hues held on me between eight and nine hours before showing any signs of fading.
