Sol Body Jingle Jingle Jingle Shimmering body powder ($ 12.00 for 0.18 oz.) Is a pale, iridescent peach with a sparkling, glowing finish. It didn’t read as metallic when applied to my skin and buffed, but it definitely had more of a noticeable sparkle. So if you don’t like a “glittery” highlight, this can be too much.
It had semi-transparent to medium buildable pigmentation that was marketed as having a firmer, slightly drier texture that required a heavier technique to absorb the product evenly. I would recommend swirling a feather-like brush more aggressively or using a moderately dense, more blushing, highlighter brush. The brand recommended fingertips for higher opacity over a brush, which was exactly, and fingertips worked, but I preferred the diffusion, which was achieved with a brush. It carried well for eight hours with slight spark migration over time.
