ColourPop Café de Paris Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer ($ 8.00 for 0.21 ounce) is a deep burgundy red with strong, cool undertones – more pink than brown – with a glossy, cream-colored finish. It had a semi-opaque paint release in a single layer that wasn’t applied as evenly as desired. It seemed less even on my lower lip than it was on the upper lip, but I think this might just have been an illusion based on lighting / angles.
The texture was smooth, spreadable, and creamy with no tackiness, making it feel like the others in the row, but it just didn’t have the evenness that I wanted. I would use a lip liner underneath that should help with the bumps in the gloss. On the other hand, it wasn’t streaky and didn’t sit down noticeably on my lip lines, giving the illusion of smoother, plumper looking lips. It wore well for five hours and looked even better after two hours of wear, while the formula was incredibly moisturizing.

The formula is said to have the “pigment of a liquid lipstick” paired with the “shine of a supergloss”, which is also moisturizing and “ultra-creamy” with “high color saturation”. They were pigmented – typically semi-opaque to opaque – with a smooth, creamy consistency that was light, non-sticky, and spreadable.
If anything, I found they were a bit thicker and / or too much product was dispensed with one swipe of the deer foot applicator (so wiping off the excess or trying to use just one side to get coverage) because of a fine line in between was a good application (mostly evenly) and a less prominent application that showed some streaks.
I found that they smoothed my lip lines, especially when they wore off, and my lips looked hydrated, fuller, and smoother. Most shades lasted around four hours with some lingering color and shine with an even fade / wear. The formula was comfortable to wear and very moisturizing and made me feel more like a lip gloss / lip balm hybrid than a lipstick / lip gloss hybrid.
They smell like vanilla, but have no discernible taste.

ColourPop Cherry Liqueur Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer ($ 8.00 for 0.21 oz.) Is a darker auburn with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, cream-colored finish. The texture was light, smooth, and creamy without being overly thick and without any stickiness. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that was applied fairly evenly, but this shade tended to get stuck in my lip lines which I didn’t find as common in other shades. It wore well for four hours and was moisturizing over time.
