ColourPop Charleston Luster Dust Loser Highlighter ($ 7.00 for 0.106 oz.) Is a darker, rosy copper with moderate, warm undertones and subtle sparkles over a brilliant sheen. The loose format made it harder to determine the exact opacity as it was very fine and airy, but it seemed to have more semi-opaque opacity that could be cut out if desired, but it didn’t take much product to get higher opacity .
I found it stuck well where it was first placed and just gently diffused (rather than spreading) along the edges. The effect was bright with a slight twinkle but didn’t emphasize the natural texture of my skin. It wore well for eight hours before it faded a little.

The formula is said to be a “finely ground, soft powder” that “has a dazzling punch” where “a little helps a lot”. These can be incredibly shiny and metallic on the skin, and the opacity seemed to be all in the application. They actually seemed more pigmented when I applied them to my cheekbones with a tapered highlighter than when I used smaller brushes (for the eyes) on my forearm. The powders were finely ground with a little base color and a lot of shimmer / pearl. I found the best way to apply this by picking up the product on a brush and then swirling my brush on the inside of the cap, which helped spread the powder more evenly through my brush. This resulted in a more even application on my cheeks that required less buffing and veneering than if I skipped the whirling step. They lasted for about eight hours with me.
