EXPERIMENT PATTERN FOR SPACE STATIONS

The first batch of in-orbit experiment samples from China’s space station has been shipped to research facilities, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

At the handover ceremony, samples of the in-orbit scientific experiments were delivered from the container-free materials science laboratory cabinet in the Chinese space station to the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other research institutions.

5G PHONE SHIPPING

Deliveries of 5G phones in China rose 70.4 percent year over year to around 183 million units in the first nine months of this year, according to data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).

The volume accounted for 73.8 percent of the country’s total mobile phone deliveries in the reporting period, said CAICT, a research institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

SHIJIAN-21 SATELLITE

China successfully launched a new satellite on Sunday from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s Sichuan Province.

The Shijian-21 satellite was launched by a Long March-3B launcher at 9:27 a.m. (Beijing time) and successfully entered planned orbit.
