I drank the love potion
MAC drank the love potion lip glass ($ 19.00 for 0.1 oz.) Is a muted, medium-dark red with cooler undertones and hints of fuchsia and pink pearl on a more off-white finish. It had a semi-opaque paint release that was applied evenly but settled enough in my lip lines to be personally noticeable (despite a very high gloss finish).
The texture was smooth, moderately sticky, and a bit thicker which made it wearable longer, but feels heavy to those unfamiliar with the formula (which is known for its stickiness). It wore well for six hours and felt moisturizing when worn.

The Lipglass formula is said to be “pigmented, very shiny, and add subtle or dramatic color” that can be worn “alone, over lipstick or lipstick” and “cares for the lips”. MAC could use an update to the description as some shades are more pigmented than others, but others are more transparent and probably should be. The formula has a very glossy, high gloss finish with a light to medium weight and moderate stickiness.
I’ve found that newer lipglasses (in recent years) are smoother and not quite as sticky as the formula was many years ago. They wear me for three to six hours and are usually lightly moisturizing. MAC recently updated the color palette and packaging for the series (although the formula stayed the same). Ounce. (was 0.17 fl. oz.), which may matter to some but not to all.

Hectic romance
MAC Frantic romantic lip glass ($ 19.00 for 0.1 oz.) Is a darker, orange-peach-colored base with a green-to-gold pearl and plenty of it. It had a semi-sheer to medium coverage (more of shimmer than the base color) that applied evenly and smoothly to my lips, and the consistency was thicker that softened most of my lip lines.
This is a stickier formula that may feel heavier to those used to more typical, non-sticky glosses, but this one wore five hours longer and was very moisturizing. The pigmentation of MAC lipglass has always – in reality – changed a lot from color to color, but they describe the formula as pigmented and unfortunately rarely show transparency for color.

Mocha swirl
MAC Mocha Swirl Lip Glass ($ 19.00 for 0.1 oz.) Is a medium, yellowish peach with warm undertones and much finer champagne glints and larger patches of pink and gold microfinkers. It had medium color coverage with a more milky base that tended to stand out noticeably in my lip lines.
The consistency was moderately thick and quite sticky, but it had a high-gloss finish that lasted longer than most glosses. It lasted a good five hours and hydrated over time.
