Favorite formulas
Below are my favorite Fenty Beauty formulas and some of the top rated shades within each formula. It should come as no surprise that the Cheeks Out Cream Blushes, released earlier this year, are high on my list – really a category I’ve been waiting for to fill a brand with something awesome, and Fenty did it !
I also have a couple of Killawatt Highlighters (duos or singles) from Fenty Beauty in my drawer. Afternoon Snack / Mo ‘Hunny and Wattabratt are two I’ll be using for review photos for something quick and easy, and they’ve been in my cosmetic drawer since they were introduced (you can read more about them in my 2020 must-haves).
I bought the original Fenty Gloss Bomb a couple of times at this point, and it’s been a favorite for a while (see must-haves that stayed favorites from 2018!). I have one in my bag and in my vanity for easy use on the go that is shiny, comfortable, and a bit big (but goes with any look).

The formula should result in a “fresh shade” that can be “effortlessly” mixed with a “natural-looking” finish. The cover is “transparent, buildable” with a “sweat and water repellent formula”. The formula is said to be “long lasting,” “transfer resistant,” “easy to blend,” and “airy light” with buildable coverage that is “hard to overdo”. – opaque, with some shades being almost opaque in a single coat.For a really buildable pigmentation I would recommend using a light hand or a less dense brush to pick up and apply the product first.

The formula is said to have a “peach-vanilla” scent (I would agree – sweet, slightly fruity) and be “conditioning”. It is designed to be worn alone or over other lip products. The consistency was very smooth, light to medium weight, not sticky and comfortable to wear. It had a softer consistency which helped me avoid most of my lip wrinkles. The shimmer was moderate but noticeable and spread evenly over the lips. They last on my lips for about three hours, but they provide moisture.

It is said to have a “petal-soft matt finish” with a “mega rich color” that lasts for a long time and does not bleed or spring out. They are creamy, smooth, and velvety without being heavy. Most of the shades were applied evenly to the lips, never skipped and didn’t go into my lip lines.
