Cami crush
ColourPop Cami Crush Super Shock Shadow ($ 6.00 for 0.07 oz.) Is a medium pink base with subtle, warm undertones paired with green and gold sparkles that give it a metallic finish. It had a semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation paired with a smooth, slightly softening consistency. The formula initially felt like a cream, but dried to a more powder-like finish, so after curing it was still flexible and mixable, but lasted longer than a regular powder. It lasted a good 10 hours without falling or wrinkling.

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow is a cream-based formula that is available in a variety of shades and finishes. The more metallic colors have the most gliding effect (they feel “wetter”), while the more matte ones have a firmer, more clay-like consistency. Almost every shade of ColourPop I’ve tried has been exceptionally long-lasting (over 10 hours of wear, usually there until I remove it, even 14 hours later). Pigmentation can vary from shade to shade, but the average shade is quite pigmented.
Of the feedback I’ve seen from readers, many love it, but some don’t like it at all. They’re not a traditional cream eyeshadow, as they’re denser (more spongy) and are best applied to me with flat, firm, synthetic brushes (I like the MAC 242 and 249). The brand recommends using fingers for the most pigmented application, but I just felt like fingers are required on some shades (usually the super glitzy ones).
The more matte shades can be on the drier side and vary from medium to opaque coverage, although they are often buildable. The edges can be a little tricky to disperse, although some are very nice to work with.
The shimmery shades were the weakest for me as they can be more transparent or harder to apply. Sometimes they’re more pigmented and work like the other finishes in the formula, but often they’re more sheer and just work well dabbed on more pigmented eyeshadow to add glitter. They do tend to have little fallout over time, however, with occasional hues having a more moderate amount of fallout (but still less fallout than most glitter powder eye shadows).

In the saddle
ColourPop In the Saddle Super Shock Shadow ($ 6.00 for 0.07 oz.) Has a pale pink base with cooler undertones, but the product was full of white gold and light yellow gold sparkles that gave it a warmer tone at first glance. It had a slightly creamy consistency that was slightly thicker than average for the formula, so I found it best applied with a flat shader brush for even coverage.
It had an opaque coverage applied with a fingertip and a medium, buildable coverage with a synthetic brush. It lasted a good 10 hours, with slight sagging over time, but no wrinkles.

Slight increase
ColourPop Low Rise Super Shock Shadow ($ 6.00 for 0.07 oz.) Is a darker lavender with subtle, cool undertones and a warmer greenish-gold pearl. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, slightly emollient consistency that was light, thin, and easy to work with as the formula looked more like a powder once applied to my skin. It has worn well for 10 hours without fading or wrinkling.
