What is the hardest substance on earth? Diamond? Vibranium? Apparently the answer is the Nokia 3310. True fans rave about the iconic, NOT smart, but super nostalgic phone that wraps up 21 years after its release.
The Nokia 3310 was released in September 2000. The phone had a black and white display, enough memory to store only 8 dialed calls in call logs, and absolutely no features that smartphones offer us today.
But it was tough! The body seemed unbreakable as the phone showed no signs of discomfort after a violent fall. Some users still remember miracle stories in which the Nokia 3310 survived a fall from the second floor of a building!
As expected, social media is full of posts reminiscent of the good ol ‘days filled with appreciation for the old tech piece.
You remember Snake don’t you?
A time when you could compose your own ringtones!
Playing in line for hours and composing your own ringtones were the best things to do on the Nokia 3310 pic.twitter.com/bWohWIPP2z

Sounds plausible!
Another thing the phone was loved for was its battery life! If we celebrate metallic today, when our smartphone battery lasts a whole day, the Nokia 3310 has given you enough juice to comfortably last two days (and more!)
The love for the old gizmo was so great that Nokia even launched a 4G version of the Nokia 3310 a few years ago. But the new phone, while generating nostalgic reactions, couldn’t keep up with the craze for the old one when it dominated the cell phone market.
