YSL Nude Tension (301) The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick ($ 39.00 for 0.08 oz.) Is a muted medium coral with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was slightly creamy, smooth and denser, like a velvety foundation that was pleasant to apply.
It had an opaque color coverage that was applied evenly but tended to settle slightly in my lip lines, which wasn’t the norm with this formula. It lasted a good four and a half hours and was slightly moisturizing when worn.

The formula is said to have “full coverage” with “long-lasting semi-matte color” that provides “creamy comfort”. They were very pigmented with a moderately dense, velvety consistency that was creamy without slipping. The substance / density of the product has helped the product sit smoother on my lips and make them less prone to accentuating the lip texture and getting stuck in my lip lines.
The lipsticks were comfortable to apply, and while the diamond-shaped lipstick was unusual, I didn’t find it difficult to work with. Most shades lasted at least five hours, some shades lasted six to seven hours with some stains on the back. The formula felt slightly moisturizing over time. They had a fruity, floral scent, but no noticeable taste.

YSL Brown No Way Back (302) The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick ($ 39.00 for 0.08 oz.) Is a deep plum brown with warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was light, smooth and velvety, which gave it a glide without being very emollient or traditionally creamy.
It had an opaque pigmentation in a single layer that adhered evenly to my lips and didn’t emphasize the lip texture or stand out in my lip lines. It wore well for five and a half hours and was slightly moisturizing over time.
