YSL Radical Chili (308) The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick ($ 39.00 for 0.08 oz.) Is a rich coppery red with warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture felt velvety and smooth, dense without being too heavy to wear, and had enough lubricity to apply even, opaque coverage in a single layer. It lasted a good six and a half hours, stained, and was slightly moisturizing when worn.

The formula is said to have “full coverage” with “long-lasting semi-matte color” that provides “creamy comfort”. They were very pigmented with a moderately dense, velvety consistency that was creamy without slipping. The substance / density of the product has helped the product sit smoother on my lips and make them less prone to accentuating the lip texture and getting stuck in my lip lines.
The lipsticks were comfortable to apply, and while the diamond-shaped lipstick was unusual, I didn’t find it difficult to work with. Most shades lasted at least five hours, some shades lasted six to seven hours with some stains on the back. The formula felt slightly moisturizing over time. They had a fruity, floral scent, but no noticeable taste.

YSL Fatal Carmine (309) The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick ($ 39.00 for 0.08 oz.) Is a deep red with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. It had rich coverage of paint in a single stroke that comfortably applied over my lips without tugging.
The texture was dense, a little richer but not difficult to wear, which gave it great glide and a rather velvety creaminess as it didn’t have a lot of traditional creaminess / glide. It carried well for seven hours, staining, and feeling slightly moisturizing over time.
