Chennai: Feeding stray dogs and cats is the primary responsibility of David Chelladurai who runs the Solomon Memorial Trust in Chennai.
Speaking to News Today, David Chelladurai said, “The foundation was created to commemorate my son Solomon David, who died in 2016 after being hit by a police car. Since he was interested in serving the people, we do social activities through this foundation. ‘
He adds: “We set up the foundation in 2016, which regularly organizes blood donations, free medical camps, education about organ donation and also helps poor people and orphans by distributing clothing and food.
He says: ‘Our trust was recognized by the district collector for the regular organization of the blood donation camps’.
“During Covid-19 we distributed rice and food to 50 families.
